The Manage Services module allows you to stop, start and restart services on windows client machines.

Running the Module

Select the client(s) you would like to run the module on.

Click the Services Module.

Select the action you would like to perform on the service from the Action to Perform drop-down.  This can be Start, Stop or Restart.

In the Service Name field enter the name of the service you want to perform the action on.

If you are restarting a service you can enter a delay (in seconds) between stopping and attempting to restart the service in the Restart Delay field, this can be useful if a service is slow to stop.  If you have selected Start or Stop in the action drop-down then this value is ignored.

Click the Confirm button to carry out the action.
