Link your CPOMS account with Senso to enable the ability log violations created in Senso directly into CPOMS. Once integrated, these violations will appear under the Incident Tray icon on your CPOMS dashboard, streamlining the safeguarding and reporting process.

  1. Access the Admin Centre

Select the gear icon located in the top-right corner of your Senso portal

  2. Navigate to Integrations

Then click on CPOMS to begin the sync setup

  3. Add a New Integration

Click the "Add Integration" button add a new CPOMS integration.

  4. Complete the Integration Form
    • Name: Give the integration a clear name (e.g. “CPOMS - [School Name]”).
    • Subdomain: This is the first part of your CPOMS URL. For example, if your CPOMS URL is example.cpoms.co.uk, your subdomain is example
    • API Key: You can generate this in CPOMS via Admin → Integrations → Senso.cloud → Integrate
    • Sites: Select which sites this integration will apply to

Troubleshooting Categories

If you find that no categories appear when uploading a violation to CPOMS:

  1. In CPOMS, go to Admin → Categories
  2. Locate and edit the relevant category
  3. For the Senso User Group, ensure the following permissions are ticked:
    • View Students
    • View Incidents
    • Add Incidents

If you encounter an error when uploading an image, check that the Senso user within CPOMS has the “Manage System” permission enabled

You can verify this under Admin → Integrations → Senso.cloud in the CPOMS portal
