The End Session module allows you to shutdown, restart and logout windows devices that are connected to your portal. When you run the module you are able to select whether the end user can deny the command you run or have it forced down. You are able to have it populate a custom message when this is ran to detail a reason for the module running if you need.
Related Packages and Compatibility:
Enterprise Cloud - Network Cloud
Windows: 10, 11 (64-bit Required)
How to use:
- Log into your Senso Portal.
- Locate the End Session Module across the toolbar:
- Select the device(s) you wish to run End Session on. In this example, we are selecting TF-VMClient-01 and running a restart across it. We will set our custom message and allow the user to cancel. We want it to run straight away so we will not want the idle timer to be applied. We will keep the "Wait until user/device is idle" timer set at 0. We have added a 60 second delay to allow the user to save any work if needed.
- Run the module across the device. You will see a window counting down to the restart appear on the screen.
- In this case, the user canceled the request. You can see this through the module in the portal.
