In some cases, certain websites may be blocked by the Web Content Filter due to categorization or policy settings. This guide outlines the steps required to whitelist a specific URL, allowing it to bypass the Web Content Filter and be accessible to users. These instructions are intended for administrators with the appropriate permissions to modify filtering policies.

  1. Navigate to 'Rule-Sets' - Click Here

  2. Click + Create Ruleset
  3. Details - Assign a clear and descriptive name to the policy — in this example, we’ve chosen “Web Filter Whitelist”

  4. Web Rules - Navigate to the Web Rules section and select + Add Web Rule. This example demonstrates how to exclude the domain 888.com from being classified under the Gambling category

Enter the required URL in the Pattern field and select "Exact" as the match type

Set the Detection Action to "Allow"

The Enforce toggle ensures this rule takes precedence over other conflicting configurations

Select "Save" to confirm and add the rule

  5. Visibility - Enable the sites to which you want to assign the ruleset

Click "Save" to store the ruleset

  6. Your ruleset is now visible, and you can update it later to add more URLs if needed. Please note that it is not currently enabled, so you must now apply the ruleset to your logging policy.

  7. Applying the ruleset

Locate your logging policy stored here - https://app.senso.cloud/admin-centre/logging/logging-policies

    Select Edit :

Navigate to 'Custom Rulesets' and enable

Finally, select "Save" to confirm and apply.
